Killeen Junior ROTC cadets go the extra mile to learn winning competition techniques | Herald of Fort Hood

KILLEEN — It was hot, but despite the heat, cadet leaders from the junior ROTC battalions of Killeen High School and Ellison High School gathered at Ellison for a week-long training session to hone their skills in exercise material and color guard to improve their chances of winning in future JROTC drill competitions.

The training was conducted by retired 1st Sgt. Jim Tadayeski of Dominate the Drill Pad, a competitive drill team consultant based in Gainsville, Georgia. It was paid for by the Killeen Independent School District and was open to all KISD JROTC units.
