New Delhi, July 17 (IANS): Youth have been instrumental in two consecutive BJP wins and now the Youth Congress is giving a cultural push to reach out to youth and strengthen the organization by launching “India’s Rizing Talent” for talented youths.
India’s Rizing Talent is a creative and innovative platform where young people can express their political opinions through dance, song, rap, comedy, mimicry, innovative social ideas, technology.
While launching the program, actress Sonia Mann said India’s Rizing Talent program is a golden opportunity for young people in the country through which they can showcase their art and move forward for a prosperous future.
Young people can share their dance, their singing, their rap, their comedy, their mimicry, their innovative social ideas, their technology, to express their political opinions. To participate, they will have to send their recording of a one-minute video on WhatsApp.
Popular folk singer who rose to fame for Bihar mein ka ba — Neha Singh Rathore said that “today there are many young people in every corner of the country who have incredible talent in art and culture , but somewhere they are lagging behind due to lack of opportunity at the right time.These types of events are for all these people.Indian’s Rizing Talent will nurture young talent and they will have a great opportunity to showcase their art.
The program is a precursor to the party’s main agitation program, Bharat Jodo Yatra, to connect with young people through cultural outreach.
Indian Youth Congress National President Srinivas BV said politicization of non-essential issues is a serious problem in the country today. In this, by ignoring the important issues related to the people, the interests and rights of the people are trampled. Therefore, advancing issues of public interest and providing permanent solutions to them is our priority through this program.
The aim of the Youth Congress is to create an atmosphere of harmony in the country, and this is not possible without Gandhi’s values. “Our resolution is to convey Gandhi’s ideas to the masses and build a sensitive society. Respecting every section of society, every community, it is very important to integrate them and their ideas with us in this goal of building the nation. Therefore, we are going to speak to young people through this program and connect them with the ideology of Congress,” said one leader.
The Bharat Jodo padyatra will be 3500 km long from Kanyakumari on October 2. It will cross 12 states and 2 union territories and end in Kashmir.
The entire leadership and cadres of the Congress party will participate in the Yatra. Many other yatras will join the main padyatra across the country. Specific details of the Yatra itinerary will be announced in due course. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will join the Yatra from its starting point and take part in it for a large part.
