Best ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ Performances on Talent Shows – Can Anyone Beat Adam Lambert?

Talent recap via YouTube

We’ve seen some amazing renditions of “Bohemian Rhapsody” on talent shows, but can anyone beat Queen’s new lead singer, Adam Lambert? Look at each interpretation and you will be the judge.

No one could even sing Queen music like Freddie Mercury, but since Adam Lambert has continued to collaborate with the band since american idol, let’s compare his version to other singers. Here are five talent show contestants who sing Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody.”

The interpretation of Adam Lambert in various talent shows

Before we dive into that comparison, let’s take a look back at Lambert’s rendition of “Bohemian Rhapsody.” He might not be America’s next idol, but he was Queen’s next lead singer.

1. american idol

Lambert showed his beautiful tone during his inaugural performance of this tune. Paula Abdul smiled throughout the show.

2. UK X Factor

A few years later, Lambert took over UK X Factor stage to sing this tune with Saara Aalto. This time his confidence totally radiated throughout the auditorium, especially as he entered his high register.

3. Adam Lambert and Queen Live Concert in Japan

It’s only fair that we watch Lambert perform with Queen before moving on to other talent show contestants. Alongside the band, Lambert performs back and forth with a video by the late Freddie Mercury. Their interpretations are almost exactly the same.

Other Talent Show Contestants Singing “Bohemian Rhapsody”

4. Cristina Ramos

Cristina was the dictionary definition of a shocking audition on AGT: the champions. His operatic singing started off slow, but quickly turned into a full-fledged rock and roll performance of “Bohemian Rhapsody.” She had a larger than life stage presence and an incredibly beautiful vocal range.

5. Angelina Jordan

Angelina Jordan also performed a unique version of the tune on AGT: the champions. The Amy Winehouse-like singer modified this tune by incorporating her low register and various vocal tracks. She slowed down the melody a bit, but it was still absolutely beautiful.

6. Cappella

Cappella took “Bohemian Rhapsody” to another level by singing it in full chorus on Georgia has talent. Their performance is exhilarating with their fun choreography and well-balanced harmonies.

7. Jeff GuttX

Jeff Gutt adds a pop punk feel and tons of rasp to this beloved song. This is an extremely powerful rendition of this song. Jeff finished second in The X factor season two. I would like to see a collaboration between Jeff and Lambert.
