Veteran singing star Asha Bhosle will grace the sets at Dance India Dance Little Masters this weekend. The episode will pay tribute to legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar. Asha Bhosle will be seen sharing interesting anecdotes about her sister. In one of the promos, Asha can be seen reminiscing about the time she received a special gift from Lata Didi.
SPECIAL GIFT FROM LATA DIDI FOR ASHA BHOSLE
Asha Bhosle will be seen fondly remembering Lata Mangeshkar on DID Little Masters. In one of the promos, Asha Bhosle revealed that 5-6 months ago Lata Mangeshkar told her to ask her anything. She said: “Aaj se 5-6 mahine pehle didi ne merko bola, maang le, aaj tu Lata Mangeshkar se maang le kuch bhi. (5-6 months ago didi offered me to ask anything .)” She revealed that she asked for her old saree with her sign.
Asha Bhosle had brought the saree on the show. She then showed the sari she received from Lata Mangeshkar and said, “Ye saree duniya ki daulat se merko badi hai (this sari is wealth greater than any wealth in this world for me).”

MOUNI ROY HAD A MUSICAL DAY WITH ASHA BHOSLE
Mouni Roy shared a photo where we can see her listening to Asha Bholse on the sets of DID Little Masters. She captioned it, “Yesterday was a dream come true, meeting and spending the day with you on DID Asha ji sets. It was a musical day filled with your amazing voice, stories, learnings and desires remembering our nightingale Lata ji, she will live in us forever; we love you both so much (sic).”

Asha Bhosle filmed for the episode, which paid tribute to her and her late sister, legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar. It will be an emotional episode, as the Nightingale of India will be fondly remembered in the series.
Lata Mangeshkar has died aged 92. She was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on January 8 after testing positive for Covid-19. After showing signs of improvement, her health deteriorated and she died on February 6. Lata Mangeshkar was cremated at Shivaji Park in Mumbai.
