7-12 Band and Vocal Music Beginning Strong – Fairbury Public Schools

7-12 Band
Wow what a great start to the year so far! The high school music camp was a huge success with the final performance at the Wilber Czech Days Parade. Groups 7-12 have been working hard to prepare for the Pep Band and Marching season. The HS Band appear to be performing the first part of our World of Warcraft halftime show in our first home football game on Friday September 3rd !!! JH Band worked hard to learn the marching controls and master the school song “Colors” to participate in the reunion parade in September!

HS Choir

Have a good start to the year! We already make music and sing really well together. We have a few students interested in auditioning for the All State Choir and have started working on the music and techniques to help them with these auditions. We have also started to learn a song that we will perform in honor of our Veterans in the community on Veterans Day.

Purple elite

The choir is back! Crimson Elite returned to its roots as a competitive performing choir. Dance boot camp is approaching and we will be preparing to start here in September. The show choir season doesn’t officially start until December, so we’ll have this first semester to familiarize ourselves with what a show choir is !! The theme of this year ?! 80 years !! Are you a grade 9-12 student who always wishes the opportunity to audition? We will be holding a second chance audition on Friday September 3rd at 7:30 am in the music room! Hope to see you there!
