28 TV shows ending or canceled for the 2022-23 season – TV shows canceled + renewed

Here is a list of TV shows that aired (or were scheduled to air) during the 2022-23 season (approximately from September 2022 to August 2023) but will not be back for the 2022-23 season. Atlanta (FX)
A comedy-drama created by star Donald Glover, this show centers on a musical executive and a rapper as they navigate the Atlanta rap scene. It was announced in advance that season four would be the end of the show.

Batman: Crusader Caped (HBO Max)
An animated show about Bruce Timm’s caped crusader (Batman: The Animated Series), JJ Abrams and Matt Reeves, this series was commissioned but was canceled before it got off the ground.

The beauty and the Beast (Disney+)
A prequel that would have focused on Gaston (Luke Evans) and LeFou (Josh Gad) from the 2017 film,
this show has been canceled (at least for now) due to delays and scheduling conflicts.

Chesapeake ribs (Hallmark Channel)
It was announced that the sixth season of this family drama series will also be the show’s last.

pop of the day (E!)
A daytime series that covers pop culture and celebrity news, this show ran for five and a half years before being canceled.

dead to me (Netflix)
A dark comedy about two grieving women (Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini) who bond during therapy. The third season is over.

Effort (PBS)
A prequel to the Inspector Morse series, this crime drama follows the career of young Endeavor Morse (Shaun Evans). The British series ends with season nine.

field of dreams (Peacock)
The streaming service ordered this series which would have been based on the 1989 fantasy sports drama, starring Kevin Costner. Michael Shur was to write the project. Plans for the series have been canceled, but it is said to be bought elsewhere.

the flash (The CW)
The network’s longest-running superhero show is coming to an end with its ninth season.

The good fight (Primary +)
A sequel to The good wife A television series, this political and legal drama follows the lives of lawyers Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) and Maia Rindell (Rose Leslie) in the wake of a financial scam and scandal. Season six is ​​over.

The Late Late Show with James Corden (SCS)
In April 2022, Corden revealed he would be leaving the talk show after eight and a half years in 2023.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (First video)
Midge Maisel (Rachel Brosnahan) leaves the stage with the fifth and final season of this dramatic comedy. The show revolves around a 1950s wife and housewife who aspires to succeed in stand-up comedy.

Million Dollar Island (NBC)
A Survivor-As a contest series featuring 100 contestants, this show was scheduled for the 2022-23 season. It was canceled before casting could fully begin.

My glory was that I had such friends (AppleTV+)
Adapted from the best-selling novel by Laura Dave, the order for this series was canceled after Jennifer Garner left the project.

I have never (Netflix)
A coming-of-age comedy series, this show follows the life of a first-generation Native American teenager (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan). The fourth season will end the story.

New Amsterdam (NBC)
This medical drama series follows the efforts of Dr. Max Goodwin (Ryan Eggold) and his colleagues at New Amsterdam Medical Center to make a difference. Season five is over.

Night pop (E!)
A late-night series hosted by Morgan Stewart, Nina Parker and Hunter March, it covers pop culture and celebrity news. This show ran for nearly four years before being canceled.

Power Book V: Influence (Starz)
This Power spin-off was ordered to series starring Larenz Tate as politician Rashad Tate. Plans for the series were canceled.

Riverdale (The CW)
A dark and dramatic take on the characters from the Archie comics, this series concludes its seventh season.

See (AppleTV+)
The streaming service has announced that the third season of this post-apocalyptic drama is also its last. The series stars Jason Momoa.

Servant (AppleTV+)
A psychological thriller series, this show revolves around a grieving Philadelphia couple. Season four is over.

Snowfall (FX)
Revolving around the crack epidemic of the 1980s, this crime drama has been renewed for a sixth and final season.

Star Trek: Picard (Primary+)
Starring Sir Patrick Stewart, this sci-fi series comes to an end with its third season, which will reunite Jean-Luc Picard with his Enterprise team of Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan (First video)
Starring John Krasinski in the lead role, this action and spy thriller series comes to an end with its fourth season.

stranger things (Netflix)
Set in the 1980s, this sci-fi horror series revolves around mysteries and supernatural happenings in the town of Hawkins, Indiana. It ends with season five.

The Umbrella Academy (Netflix)
A superhero series, this show was based on the comic book series written by Gerard Way and illustrated by Gabriel Bá. It ends with season four.

working moms (Netflix)
This Canadian comedy series follows a group of women as they face the challenges of being working mothers. They say goodbye after seven seasons.

Your Honor (Show time)
Starring Bryan Cranston as a New Orleans judge, this drama’s story ends with its second season.
